Simple Steamed Salmon Bowl

Steamed Salmon Bowl

Ingredients

  • 120 g salmon fillet (or 100 g chickpeas for plant-based)

  • 60 g quinoa

  • 5 tenderstem broccoli spears

  • 1 handful rocket

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Zest of ½ lemon

  • Sea salt and black pepper

Method

  1. Cook quinoa according to packet instructions.

  2. Steam the salmon for 6–8 minutes until just cooked, or warm chickpeas in a pan.

  3. Lightly steam broccoli until bright green.

  4. Assemble with rocket, drizzle olive oil, and finish with lemon zest.

Why it works
Balanced protein, fibre, and omega fats to calm inflammation and support the skin barrier.
